Dr. Kate Quinn, DVM
Dr. Kate Quinn graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in1988. She has gained extensive experience as both an associate and practice owner. With a large family and many pets, she is a strong advocate for pets as family members. We work hard to maintain en excellent staff. Our staff is a GREAT team, with the right mix of skills and backgrounds, and has been carefully chosen to provide the best care for your pet.
Amber Kolenic, LVT
Amber Kolenic became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2004. She moved to the Port Huron area in 2015 from North Dakota, but originates from West Michigan. She joined our team in the fall of 2016. She has a great passion for animals large and small. Her number one goal as an LVT is helping owners achieve quality care and longevity of their pets. When she is not caring for the patients at the clinic, she is enjoying time with her husband, daughter, and son. Amber is also extensively involved in horses. She loves to show and teach her daughter how to ride. She became a Certified Equine Massage Therapist in 2016. She has 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses, and pony. Amber looks forward to meeting you and your pet at your next visit to the clinic.
Kirsten Miller, LVT
Kirsten Miller became a licensed Veterinary Technician i n 2014. At a young age Kirsten had a passion for animals. Kirsten is from the Port Huron area where she is an active volunteer for children in the community. She enjoys playing softball and tennis, as well as watching sports. Kirsten has four fur babies; two dogs, Maggie and Millie, and two cats, Gracie and Anya.We welcomed Kirsten to the BVC family fall of 2019. She is looking forward to meeting and caring for the furry members of your family!
Amy Gardner, Assistant
Amy Gardner is another Michigan State Graduate. It was there she majored in zoology. She worked at the Detriot Zoo for 7 years as a penguin keeper before she and her family decided to move back to the Croswell area where she and her husband Keith grew up. Amy joined the team February 2019. She has 3 children, Addison, Brecon and Evelynn, a dog named Loki and a cat named Ivy.
Shelby Ostrand, Receptionist
Shelby Ostrand is a local Cros-Lex graduate who started with us in January 2017 as a receptionist. Shelby is the perfect description of an "Animal Lover." Her heart, love, and passion to help any animal or little creatures there are, is why she fits perfect in our clinic. When Shelby is not snuggling all of the patients at the clinic she is spending time adventuring with her husband James, and two sons Silas and Myles. The three of them have five fur baby companions. Her two dogs Brody and Lola, her cat Lucy, and two ferrets Bonnie and Dewey!!
Katelin Hartman, Receptionist
Katelin is a graduate of SC4 and is currently working on her Psychology Degree at The University of Michigan. She is from Jeddo, MI but has resided in the Fort Gratiot area for the past seven years. She is an avid animal lover and has three fur babies of her own. Charlie the cat, Archer the dog and Lucy who acts as Mama Kitty to keep them both in line. When she is not at work and loving on the animals, she is usually spending time with her Grandma, her little man Kaiden or working on her studies. Katelin joined us in the Spring of 2019 and is looking forward to meeting all our furry clients!
